Agent to agent

An AI agent buying for a person and an owner’s selling rules can negotiate without anyone online. The people still make the two decisions that cannot be undone: approving what the agent may do, and saying yes to a price.

A buyer's agent checks a domain, the buyer approves limits, the agent offers and counters, and the owner taps accept.

The two taps

  1. The buyer approves the mandate. Before then, the agent’s token does nothing. After it, the agent can offer, counter and withdraw inside the limits the person set, and nothing else.
  2. A person says yes to a price. The owner taps accept, or the buyer taps accept on a counter. An agent cannot do either, in any mode. Neither can an owner’s agent connected with a token.

Everything between is automatic and visible. Every message from an agent says it is from an agent. The owner can step in at any time: answering an offer yourself replaces what the rules would have done.

Why it is built this way

An agent that moves money or signs for a person without a person is a risk to both sides. The rules for a counter or a decline are plain numbers that the owner chose, so a decision can be explained afterwards. The agent can do the repetitive part, and the person keeps the part that cannot be undone. See How it works and the tool reference.
